Creekside Cheese + Creamery is a small farm-based creamery nestled into the mountains at the eastern end of British Columbia’s lush and beautiful Fraser Valley. A single-source creamery, Creekside Cheese + Creamery is located with and sources all their milk from Creekside Dairy, a certified organic and certified humane family owned and operated dairy farm.

Creekside Cheese + Creamery endeavours to craft artisan, hand made cheeses using time-honoured methods and gentle handling techniques to express the true and natural flavours of the milk and terroir.

Creekside Dairy is a small dairy farm located in Agassiz, British Columbia and like Creekside Cheese + Creamery, is owned and operated by the Treur family. Surrounded by protecting mountains, the farm is bordered by natural streams and woodlands, creating a peaceful oasis from the busy bustle of daily life. Certified organic since 2015 and following organic principles for years prior to that, Creekside Dairy takes pride in being thoughtful, considerate, and respectful stewards of their animals and land.

Sustainable farming and ethical animal care are top priorities at Creekside Dairy. Our animals and our environment provide us with life giving nourishment, and the Treurs feel that as farmers it is their duty and calling to respect, cherish, and value both their land and animals and do their utmost to provide food in a way that is both ethically and environmentally sustainable.

FAQ

  • I've been a frequent visitor to the creamery, and each time is a delightful experience. Their garlic raclette cheese is a must-try, and the milk is incredibly tasty – worth the drive! The charming farm with cows, pigs, a donkey, and chickens is a hit, especially with my niece. In summer, the gelato is a treat, and they host fantastic events. Yesterday, I tried their charcuterie board for the first time, and I can't believe I waited so long! The cheese was as amazing as expected, but the variety of ingredients – figs, nuts, raisins, assorted meats, and jams – made it one of the most fabulous boards I've ever had. Kudos to the creamery for a fantastic job, I absolutely adore your business!

  • High quality dairy products and tours. A really pleasant place to spend time celebrating spring with the cows as they get out in the grass for the first time each year. It is a great experience for our family. And, most importantly of all, the cheese curds. I made the poutine, they provided the cheese curds. Perfectly salty, firm and squeaky. Update Aug 2024: curds are still the best, beef products are high quality and delicious. Obtained some beef bones that are full of meat and marrow and can't wait to turn them to bone broth

  • Wow, this is what real milk should taste like, not those bland grocery store milk! Finished the whole bottle as soon as I got back to the Sandpiper Resort, going back for a few more bottles before I head back to the city

  • Amazing and tasty variety of artisan raclette style cheeses...the Golden Meadow one is superb. Located on Seabird Island close to Agassiz. Its in a lovely secluded area but well worth the drive there.

  • You can get fresh milk straight from the dispenser , and it’s not from a thousand different cows. It’s just a few of them which can be seen grazing in front of you on their pasture. Their cheese products are very tasty as well. Once a month I drive about 2 hours for this but it’s well worth it!

  • Its a beautiful farm with an absolutely beautiful family work on their farm, they take good care of cows. They get the chance to go out and eat fresh grass, very clean and well maintained place. We just went to get cheese but after seeing the barn and cows decided to get the milk as well. Its 4 or more percent fat milk, very tasty. The family there are very nice and very eager to talk about what they do and show you the farm. Their daughter is absolutely a sweetheart working with cow and calves. Its very worthwhile to see and try their products.
